Some things I Hate!!!!!!

Has something ever made you so angry you just wanted to scream?

Well, I have quite a few of those. I call them my biggest pet peeves. One of these pet peeves is when I ask my parents for help, and they don't know what they're talking about. The other day I was working on a big essay, so I asked my mom for help. She started explaining, but she had no idea what she was talking about. I decided to correct her because I didn't want useless information. Then she took it the wrong way and got all angry at me. "You asked for help and I'm giving it. You should be grateful I'm helping at all," she said as she stormed out of the room. I sat there dumbfounded because I had just been yelled at.

Let's just say, I don't ask for help anymore unless I need to.

Agreed. People can be very annoying in the sense of pretending to know what they are talking about.

Thank you for writing this. I also read it from the mother's perspective (because I'm a mom) and it made me think about the times I've done this, or something similar, with my own kids.

I also bet others (both parents and kids) can totally relate to this piece of writing. Can any of you out there relate?

I enjoyed this post. Its so funny, lesson learned NEVER correct Mom............. Whenever i ask my mom for help she says " I don't know... figure it out yourself." or " Ask your father."

Omg I can relate! I laughed so hard at the,"I'm just trying to help," because those exact words have come out of my moms mouth.
