I am already awake. The sunrise seems
to burst from my curtains. The faint smell of coffee fills
the room. My alarm clock beeps
a loud, vexatious sound. At this point I smack
the snooze button hoping to doze
off again. I want to sleep, I want
to dream. I want the peace and quiet to last longer.
But the reality is that I will have
to get up. I wearily step out of my bed, leaving
my comfort. My quietness, my peace. I creep
down the stairs to breakfast. It is here that the ruckus
of everyday life begins.
It is here that the reality
sets in. It is here that I go everyday
This is the place where I lose my sense of peace
Of relaxation, of silence, of calmness, of composure, and of reserve

Nice job! I can totally relate to this.
Soooo relatable! Love it!
This is really good and very relatable 😍
Wow this is really good! It reminds me of getting up from my bed to go to school! Ugh how I hate it. SO RELATABLE!!
I love the words "snooze" and "doze" together. And the list at the end is a nice way to wrap it all up.
This is the most relatable piece of writing I have ever read! Great job!
