Flowing through my hair, the wind, stroking my brunette locks, brushed it in gentle ruffles.
The wide open fields finished with a green polish that made the color glow.
In front of me, rising for miles, two huge mountains.
I sat and gazed at their serene beauty for a minute or two.
The blooming trees were all different colors: red, pink, green, and yellow.
The lillies perfumed the air with a wonderful aroma.
Lying down, I looked up at the sky only to find shades of blue, purple, and orange.
After a while, I started to walk back, but first I turned to silently say goodbye,
and it was as if the wind said goodbye back.

I love the description you used, I really felt like I was there as well.
I love how much detail you put into the poem! I also loved the personifaction you used. It really gave the setting a personality.
The detail is beautiful! We never really appreciate nature as much as we should. This is amazing!
I love the descriptions you included into this like "brushed it in gentle ruffles," it really paints a picture. This was a very well-written poem!
That was so pretty.
