Cemetery

It's so sad knowing

It looks just like cement
Square pieces of cement
Although it's more
It's the ones who once roamed
They roamed where we live today
They made us exactly who we are
Maybe our parents
Maybe our grandparents
Maybe our great grandparents
Maybe even our great great grandparents
So although they look just like a piece of cement—

                            Treat them with care

Wow. I wish I was there for the cemetery thing. This is so deep and poetic. I wish this had more comments then "Ashes To Ashes; Dust To Dust" did.

This was a cool little thingy you got here. One of those writings that make you sit and ponder the answer to life for a moment. Possibly some might even have a existential crisis Dan style on some carpet in a hallway. I might have to clear some time in my schedule to do just that. But honestly, it is odd how when we look at tombstones all we see is a name on cement.

This is so true. It reminds me of other things surrounding us and how we always need to respect everything. Good job.,

This is actually accurate. Most people are rude when walking through a cemetery walking all over the graves and being loud. Everything you said is true.

This is so great. It's true that we should be respectful of the graves. Although they look like slabs of cement, they are meant for our lost loved ones. Good job.

This is so true. Many people don't care about gravestones because they think that since they are dead, nobody will care.

This is really beautiful. When we were at the graveyard, I also experienced this. I think this is definitely something everyone should read.

Just because a person is gone doesn't mean you shouldn't respect them any more.
