Step, step through the trees
the beautiful trees tickling my head
cold sweat running down my spine
glancing up, the sun in my eyes
Step, step through the dirt
the rough dirt tickling my toes
cold sweat running down my spine
glancing up, the sun in my eyes
Step, step I stop—
I see something unfamiliar
creep up and peer over the edge
how lucky I am
to call this place my home

I like the concept of this.
What a pretty ending. I loved it! :)
I like how it has such a Hollywood ending, and I mean that in a good way!!
Nice vivid description! This poem reminds me of Colorado.
Reading this makes me imagine many different places that could be called home. Your description is very clear and serene sounding. Great work!
Cool dude good job! 👍
This is a really cool poem, it has an awesome ending! I also like how you described the trees! Amazing job!
Good job! I like the ending the best.👏👏
This is a great poem! I love how "step, step" is repeated every stanza, it really makes it flow. Good job!
When I saw the title I thought, "Someone wrote Eminem lyrics." How wrong I was. Why did you pick such a misleading title? Also this totally isn't sarcasm.
I like how simple it is. The ending is great.
