When I was young,
Grass grew green
The Seagulls soared
Through the clear sky up above,
The Seagulls soared
Through the clear sky up above,
And oh the sweet sound of the tide rolling in,
Washing away all our troubles
Our fears blew away in the stormy wind.
One day it all falls down,
And the rain plunges down,
And the rain plunges down,
Day and night we were drenched
And it happens again and again.
Yet one fateful day
It all takes flight
And the sun comes out again,
We understand what the rain has done,
The grass has grown tall and green,
Colors litter the land beautifully.
Listen brothers,
The rain will drench you
But behold the day will come
When the sun comes out again.
We will witnes what the rain has done,
The crops grown fertile
And the grass will be green,
And oh the gentle sound of the tide rolling in,
Washing away all our sins
Our fears and troubles,
Will fly away in the roaring wind.
This poem/song is about Ireland but it also has moral: We all must go through hardships, yet those hardships construct in us a heart of steal. For crops can not grow without the rain.

The writing in your poem is truly amazing. I can picture each and every line. :)
You've not overused any certain elements of writing, really good description and nice rhyming. It really paints a picture in the mind. Nice writing

I loved the word use in this poem. It all flowed together really well with great descriptions. It's really easy to picture every line.
