Everyone Leaves

                                                                  The End

Everyone who has met will part, someone will leave. I guess that's why when people get married it's ''till death do us part' because even if you spend your whole life with someone, there's still always going to be an end. Even if it's just a 'see ya later,' they are still technically leaving. Just not for good. Although, eventually the 'for good' goodbye will come. There's a quote from Peter Pan that I think of and at the end of it it states "Goodbye means forgetting." That one line, for some reason, has always stuck with me. Now, it might not have much correlation to the whole death kind of leaving, but for the 'see ya later', it does. When you leave someone just as a parting of the ways, you're more than likely to forget them. What you've done together, the memories you've made, maybe even who they are. There might be a time where you'll randomly remember something you've done with them or a specific thing will trigger a memory of yours. That's the best part of goodbyes; knowing you've done enough to remember them even after you've split apart, the part where you still have those memories because they meant that much to you. Even if it's a hate relationship, they made you feel a lot and you'll remember that. Perhaps it won't be forever, but for the time being, you still have them with you.

I absolutely I love this! The thoughtfulness you put into this is outstanding! It's honestly a bit sad.

This almost made me cry because I can relate so much to what you wrote. In elementary school many of my best friends moved.

I know what you mean. Even if people are married for 50 years, when one of them dies, there is eventually a "goodbye." This is one of those big things that we all grapple with in life ... The End. Thanks for sharing this!
