He's Not Coming Home

First time hearing the news
I could hardly hold back the blues
He's not coming home

No matter how brave
He couldn't be saved
He's not coming home

As the bullets did rain
All they brought was pain
He's not coming home

No matter how hard I try
I wish I could have said goodbye
Dad's not coming home
