Lost

I looked for minutes
I didn't find it
I looked for hours
I was in the gloomy forest
I looked for days
I was as lost as it
I looked for weeks
I was slipping on sanity
I looked for months
I was slowing down
I looked for years
I was losing hope

I stopped
out of will,
out of encouragement,
and out of time.

I really like how deep and how it's a little vague. Keep up the good work!

Wow. This reminds me of one time I lost my watch for 4 years, then when I finally found it I lost it again a day later. The way you convey the amount of time passing is really on point. The forest is a really easy place to lose things in, so I'm not surprised you based the poem there. What did this person lose though?

Wow! That's cool. I like how it ended and the cliff hanger! I like it because I can totally agree and feel what the person feels like in your wrighting.

I really LOVE this poem. I also like the title, it's short but fills the point so well.

That was pretty deep, dies this relate to you? Has this ever happened to something you own? The needing makes you want to keep reading forever, but at the same time it's good cause it makes readers want to read more. Great job?

This poem is amazing. I love how the time just keeps going up. It is very cool that every line starts with the letter I. I love how we never know what you are looking for. Great job!

Did I Ever Tell You The Definition Of Insanity?

(This is a censored version of a quote from the game “Far Cry 3.” The main villain monologues this to you because... I don’t know. Because...
