The Stark Tree

The bleak sun peered down
Through clouds like washed up sand
It illuminated the gentle fog
And gave shadows to the trees
The barn it made a shilloutte
The rolling hills it muffled
Ghosts it sent to roam the ground
There I stood in unearthly silence
Watching the shadows shift
Breathing in the quiet air
Beneath the old Stark tree
