Twenty-four Hours; Chapters 1-3

Chapter 1- Parker

"The robin is always there when I wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night."

Chapter 2- Amethyst

"The robin is always there when I wake up at night and go to sleep in the morning."

Chapter 3- The Robin

I see Parker every sunrise and sunset. I see Amethyst every moonrise and moonset. I see everything everyday and every night. Sleep never knocks on my door, or rather my tree. Occasionally, I switch branches, but other than that I never move. The house in front of my tree is like a game of chess. The whites move first then the blacks, only this time they never meet. Parker's family works throughout the day, and Amethyst's through the night. Each have never seen, spoke, or learned about the other half and no one ever would. Until Parker and Amethyst came along, night and day had been segregated like the old segregation between blacks and whites. It seems that in all stories, curiosity causes the main plot, but in this particular tale it was all a total accident.

OH MY GOSH. I could totally imagine people who only are alive at night. You should totally continue this story, there are so many different ways you could continue it.
