World War 2 Quickwrite

World War 2 is interesting because you can debate when it actually started. You could disclose that it started when the Nazis took power in 1933, or when Japan invaded Manchuria in 1931. Perhaps when Japan invaded China in 1937, causing the second Sino-Japanese War, but they didn't stop fighting until 1945. Maybe when Germany invaded Poland in 1939. But it didn't really start for Americans until 1941 when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. The Japanese did this because they thought such an attack would scare the U.S.A into staying out of the war (which was stupid). That's like shooting a bear's cub and not expecting the bear to maul you in return.

Nice! I agree World War One is very interesting. Awesome analogy for Pearl Harbor.
