Ashes To Ashes; Dust To Dust

He was dead. His body lay in the ground.
His plane had fallen like lead. Now he lay sound.

Their lives were exciting, not full of grief.
Now they shall live with those underneath.

A man full of pride, so shrivelled inside.
It was also sad, the way he died.

The lady, with her phone tight in hand.
She said, "Goodbye Brady, good luck with your band."

Everyone with people to see.
They will never be known to you or to me.

Every person, no time to adjust.
Ashes to Ashes; Dust to Dust.

I loved your end line. All of my end lines never seem to move me the way yours did.

Very good! It's so creepy, morbid, and just plain perfect.

My intention wasn't to make anyone sad. It was just to use the phrase Ashes to Ashes; Dust to Dust in a post. Sorry if I made anyone cry.

This story reminds my of the song lyrics, In the ground, his body lay. Also this story was very good nice job.
