Words

Starts out soft and quiet, something this something that.
Voices rise fury lights
Words be said
Words that can't be unsaid
Door slams and car starts
Rushing away with blinding eyes
Lights ahead, a sudden hit
And all disappears
The unsaid words echoed through the streets
red lights yelling down the road
Lightening strike and the rain pours
All you see is death at the door and the whispered words
News breaks the silence
No last words
No sorry
No nothing, but the yelling in your head
Just the words said and never can be unsaid
The words will stay
But she will wash away
Last words said full of hate
The words now muttered as she descended
Filled with sorrow and regret
For the words were said
You may say sorry, but the words will float around and around
But they will never reach her ears
All her ear shall hear are the stabbing words once said
