Ye Epics of Old

Trying to prevent that ye saw as fate foretold
Will only call back thine curses of old
From times of memories held
Of castle gates and giants felled
These stories told by word-weavers
Thy songs sung by tune-twiners
Tell ye of the heroes of bold
Virtuous
Valiant
Riding across plains
Hacking through great viridian forests of old
To strike the enemy
Slay the monster
Push back the darkness
After all this
Standing on the threshold of the end
Does he cower
Does he flee
No
He fights gloriously
The evils he in-two rends
Never his courage wavered
Never a man stronger than he
But this man
Sacrificed
For the good of the land
For peace

I liked the rhyming that you put in, and the language. It really helped give the story an interesting theme.
