Dear Video Game Haters,

Some people are stupid. People who stand on thin ice, humans who eat raw chicken thinking that Salmonella is for eating raw fish, and people who think that video games are bad for you. I know that people say that art is whatever you think it is, but a lot of people think that video games (playable film) are worthless pieces of trash. Video games are basically the king of controversy nowadays. Radical feminists, hate speech, and shootings are all somehow tied to video games, so let me clear that up. There are good things about video games too. Charity (one of the most famous gamers ever (Pewdiepie) raised 1.4 million dollars to help with AIDS research), entertainment, and helping people with focusing. Old people are using them to stay sharp. Reliable news sources such as The Guardian, The Washington Post, and the Dementia Research Foundation have found that video games help people with dementia. The National Institute of Health has stated that video games help treating brain diseases. Quoting their article, "A demanding video game can delay or prevent age-related cognitive decline." Now onto the violence part. The Texas A&M International University has found that violent video games "relieve stress and help treat depression." While some people say that school shooters always play violent video games, there is no way to prove this. In fact, Mainstream news networks demonized video games whenever there is a shooting. Just because their mother said that when they were a kid the loved Space Invaders or something (fake example) doesn't mean that video games are the worst thing ever. It seems that the news demonizes video games and gamers to much. I personally think that they are scared. Think of it this way. You are the head executive of FOX. More people are watching clips of people playing video games on the internet than your clip of a woman feeding a fox (another fake example). The GAMER is making more money than you. You need money. How do you get money? By making a news story demonzing gamers and games. I'm not even going to start on Religion Vs. Video Games.
