Cats can be evil creatures. I happen to have a demon cat named Circi. She can be a sweetheart when she wants, but when we first got her she was malicious.
When we first met her in Petco, she was delightful, but as soon as we brought her home to our other cat, Panda, she showed her dark side. She would hiss at us, swat, bite, and sometimes attack us. When Circi met Panda, she would start to fight with him. Occasionally, she will still hiss or swat at him, but it is only when Panda is bothering her.
Although she went through her wicked stage, she is now a generally a sociable cat. Circi can be greedy as well, especially when she takes treats from Panda. She will rub against your leg when you're trying to read, just so you will scratch her. When you're drifting off to sleep, she will jump on your chest and dig her claws into your skin.
All of this it out of love, though.
